Calgary, AB – Calgary Hitmen Main Training Camp came to a close Tuesday night as Team Black beat Team White 4-1 in the annual intra-squad game at Max Bell Centre.
Goalies Ryan Rewerts and Evan Johnson combined to make 37 saves backstopping Team Black to victory.
Connor Rankin, Dawson Martin, Jordan Stallard and Dalton Gally all scored for Team Black while Pavel Karnaukhov had a pair of assists.
Michael Zipp had the lone goal for Team White.

After the game the club trimmed their roster from 48 players to 35. They include 21 forwards, 10 defencemen and four goalies.
The Hitmen will now begin their six game pre-season schedule this weekend with a pair of games at the Regina pre-season tournament. They’ll take on the host Pats Friday night at 7pm before facing the Prince Albert Raiders Saturday at 3pm.
